Before the birds begin to sing
And the coffee starts to brew
It is when the whole world is mine
And I only think of you

This morning you are mine anew
I feel the truth so clear
But will you still want me
when my love draws near?

When the sun’s rays eventually tease
and the first chirps clear the throats
I look again to where you are far away
the miles make a gigantic moat

So with all the world quiet and ready
And I can chose what’s to be mine
I seize, I dream, I yearn, I hope
For that one woman, so divine

This morning you are mine anew
I feel the truth so clear
But will you still want me
when my love draws near?

My inferno burns without my Beatrice
There is no angel to guide my way
Will you still love me when I give you all
The power of two, I do pray

Please return to the palazzo, besotted I am
your crimson love I must share
My kisses beg for your neck, for your back
And my fingers to twirl your hair

This morning you are mine anew
I feel the truth so clear
But will you still want me
when my love draws near?
